We’re two months into Icecrown Citadel, and it looks like Blizzard is preparing to roll out the final raid of Wrath of the Lich King, Ruby Sanctum.
Starting tomorrow at 3 PM PST, the raid will be available on the Public Test Realm for about a week of testing, ending on December 21st.
This raid doesn’t come with any additional content. And like Obsidian Sanctum, its neighboring raid beneath Wyrmrest Temple in Dragonblight, Ruby Sanctum only has one boss. However, that one boss drops some powerful late-expansion gear that will appear on most class BIS lists.
Ruby Sanctum marks the final content release before the launch of Cataclysm Classic sometime next year.
Tomorrow at 3:00 p.m. PST, we intend to open the Public Test Realm for a few days of Ruby Sanctum testing.
Please have a look inside the raid, and if you come across any bugs, please report them using the in-game bug reporter (default hotkey: F6).
We’ll close this test on Thursday, December 21.
