wotlk pve fury warrior pre bis bis gear

Equipment will be the main source of your character’s power, contributing the biggest bulk of your stats. It is therefore very important that you choose the correct equipment for each slot — commonly referred to as “best in slot” equipment – in order to maximize your power.

This guide will help you choose the best equipment possible for each phase, but also the best equipment you can find outside of raids, known as “pre-raid” gear or “pre-BiS”.

Alternative / Engineering: Charged Titanium Specs

This combination of rings will be your best option.

This combination of trinkets will be your best option.

Alternative: Sword of Justice
Alternative: Edge of Oblivion

The listed combination of weapons is the strongest. However, Titansteel Destroyer can be a bit pricy to craft, so while you’re saving up for it you can use one of the alternatives — the Edge of Oblivion if you’re an Orc, or the Sword of Justice for every other race, preferably.

Alternative: Mirror of Truth

The Mirror of Truth is roughly equal to Loatheb’s Shadow, so you can use whichever one you happen to get first. You will want to get Grim Toll no matter what your 2nd trinket is however, as it is incredibly powerful.

The Betrayer of Humanity is on a league of its own when it comes to weapons in this phase, so you’ll want to grab 2 of them. Orcs in particular will have a field day here, thanks to their Axe Specialization.

If you wish to acquire the 4-set bonus, Conqueror’s Siegebreaker Shoulderplates will be the best option.

Alternative: If you do not care about the 4-set bonus, the best option will be Shoulderplates of the Celestial Watch.

This will be the best option for this slot.

Alternative: Drape of the Drakerider

Mjolnir Runestone is an absolute necessity, however, between Comet’s Trail and Grim Toll the choice is entirely yours. On one side, the attack speed gained by Comet’s Trail can be extremely powerful for your auto attacks while Grim Toll will severely empower your general abilities.

If both Grim Toll & Mjolnir Runestone proc at the same time, you will go over the 1400 Armor Penetration Cap, which can mean a loss of stats. However, with only one trinket, you will be around 1200 Armor Penetration, being just under the cap. One thing to keep in mind is that while the effects can overlap, it is not always the case.

This will be the best option for this slot since Voldrethar is not a “Unique” weapon.

This will be the best option for this slot.

So how would we get Tier 7, which is obtained through raids, for our Pre-Raid set?

Additionally…

Should the second weapon be Colossal Skull-Clad Cleaver?

Should one ring not be Surge Needle Ring?

Not sure why that link acted for both, but for the ring I meant Surge Needle Ring.

Those Tier 7 pieces are the “Heroes’ …” version, which drops from 10-man raids. However, they also drop from the Vault of Archavon raid, which some players consider pre-raid as it’s incredibly easy content you can do without a proper raid group. We’ll soon be adding some alternatives for people who don’t want to run Archavon or hope for drops there, though!

“…but also the best equipment you can find outside of raids…”

VoA is considered a raid, regardless of difficulty.

10m gear can be bought with badges of Heroism which is gained through dungeons

I’d be interested in the source that shows that you can purchase Tier 7 with Emblems of Heroism, especially in Phase 1 of Lich King Classic.

Furthermore, you could never buy the pants with Emblems (not badges, by the way) of Heroism.

You can Buy the 25man legs with valor which can you get from doing the heroic daily you have said so much wrong in this whole convo its not even funny as for a source on tokens for heroism/valor that would be the beta and btw VOA is VERY much per raid content

Is there a reason why the Kirin Tor rings sold by Harold Winston aren’t listed?

Aren’t these BiS phase 1 for Fury Warrior?
Since you don’t need as much hit due to talents.

For anyone here reading now, there are several incorrect items listed here. Check WoWhead for a better list.

this guy is 100% right, all fury warriors are going 2 set for tier because the 4 set just isnt as good as obsidian greathelm/chestguard of the recluse/25man leather gloves im forgetting the name of from maly, this build is arp stacking which is just not good now as there are better stats to be getting currently like crit expertise and hit rating, wowhead is 100% the better place to be looking as this just isnt good for bis gear, not to mention that in pre raid bis they compleatly forgot skull clad cleaver and many other items.

dont get me wrong, arp stacking will be good in ToC and ICC as there will be way more crit and hit/expertise items, but as of now you want to hit soft cap for hit and expertise, and then go crit main stat and secondary arp/haste.
