Welcome to Warcraft Tavern’s Reputation Guide for the Warsong Offensive in Wrath of the Lich King Classic! In this guide, we’ll go over all the ways you can gain rep with the Warsong Offensive faction, and explain how they’re related to the other Horde Expedition sub-factions. We’ll also cover the best way to reach Exalted with this faction.

As with most Horde Expedition sub-factions (which include The Sunreavers, The Hand of Vengeance, and The Taunka), there are no Faction Rewards to be gained from The Warsong Offensive. However, half of sub-faction Reputation counts towards Horde Expedition rep, so reaching Exalted in two of the four Horde Expedition sub-factions (or the equivalent rep gain spread out over all four sub-factions) is required for reaching Exalted with the Horde Expedition.

Trivia: The Warsong Offensive is the main army of the Horde in Northrend, led by Garrosh Hellscream.

How to Reach Exalted With Warsong Offensive

This section serves as a TL;DR for the rest of the guide

In brief: Complete all the available Warsong Offensive quests, do the faction’s dailies, and run heroic dungeons without a tabard on.

The simplest way to hit Exalted with the Warsong Offensive is to quest normally through Northrend, as you’ll gain around 70% of the rep required to hit Exalted just by doing the non-repeatable Warsong Offensive quests. When combined with all the spillover rep you’ll get from other factions, it’s likely that you’ll reach Exalted with Warsong Offensive without going out of your way at all.

There are also a number of daily quests found in Grizzly Hills and Icecrown that can help you hit Exalted once you’ve finished all the non-repeatables. Additionally, you can get rep with Warsong Offensive by doing the Argent Tournament Daily Quests that reward Sunreaver rep once you’ve maxed out your Sunreaver rep. You’ll get Horde Expedition rep from the dailies at that point, and half of Horde Expedition rep earned will also count towards the sub-factions, including the Warsong Offensive.

Finally, you can earn Warsong Offensive reputation by running Heroic Instances without a tabard. (H)Utgarde Keep and (H)Utgarde Pinnacle, or (H)Azjol-Nerub and (H)Ahn’kahet: The Old Kingdom are both excellent choices. Both pairs of dungeons are fairly quick to clear, and each pair has entrances near each other (to save travel time). Optionally, you can also avoid killing the bosses and then exit/re-enter the instances after killing the trash in order to earn even more rep each day.

Gaining Warsong Offensive Reputation

The main way to gain Warsong Offensive rep is to do all of the associated quests, which can be found throughout Northrend. There are also quite a few daily quests that give Warsong Offensive rep. Beyond that, you can run level 80 instances / any Heroic dungeon. You can also earn Warsong Offensive rep by gaining reputation with the other Horde Expedition factions (The Sunreavers, The Hand of Vengeance, The Taunka). You’ll receive Warsong Offensive reputation at a rate of 50% of whatever rep you gain with those factions.

There are over 150 different Warsong Offensive quests spread mainly across the following zones. Completing every single non-repeatable Warsong Offensive quest will earn you 29,445 rep.

  • Borean Tundra
  • Dragonblight
  • Grizzly Hills
  • Icecrown
  • Stormpeaks

Warsong Offensive Daily Quests

There are 9 Daily Quests that offer Warsong Offensive rep; four level 74 quests in Grizzly Hills, and six level 80 quests in Icecrown. If you need ’em, we’ve got walkthroughs for all the daily quests in both zones, including the dailies listed below.

Warsong Offensive Dungeons

You can also earn Warsong Offensive rep by killing mobs in dungeons — the four regular level 80 instances in Northrend will all grant you spillover rep with the four Horde Expedition sub-factions (The Taunka, The Sunreavers, The Hand of Vengeance, and Warsong Offensive) You can do 5 an hour of:

  • Utgarde Pinnacle
  • The Culling of Stratholme
  • The Oculus
  • Halls of Lightning

All Wrath heroic dungeons will also grant rep with the Horde Expedition factions. You can run these dungeons like normal, or you can kill the mobs and leave the bosses alive, then exit and re-enter the instance to clear the mobs again. Here are all the dungeons that, when run as a Heroic, will give rep with the Horde Expedition factions:

  • Utgarde Keep
  • Utgarde Pinnacle
  • The Nexus
  • The Oculus
  • Halls of Stone
  • Halls of Lightning
  • Ahn’kahet: The Old Kingdom
  • Azjol-Nerub
  • Dark-Tharon Keep
  • Gundrak
  • The Violet Hold
  • Caverns of Time: Culling of Stratholme
  • Trial of the Champion
  • Forge of Souls
  • Pit of Saron
  • Halls of Reflection

Remember: If you’re trying to gain Warsong Offensive rep in dungeons, remove any tabard you’re wearing before you start the dungeon.

Warsong Offensive Reputation Rewards

There is no Warsong Offensive quartermaster, as there are no item rewards for this faction! However, gaining Warsong Offensive rep does also give you reputation with the Horde Expedition, who have a quartermaster and plenty of items to sell once you’ve earned enough reputation with them.
