Joyous Journeys Returns to Wrath Classic Once More

Starting immediately, the Joyous Journeys buff has returned for Wrath Classic. This buff was previously available both during the pre-patch leading up to Wrath of the Lich Kings release, and before Phase 2 and Phase 3 releases. This buff provides an excellent opportunity to level new mains or old alts in advance of the new Raid, Icecrown Citadel.

Currently we do not know how long the boost will be available, but previously it has lasted for roughly one month, ending just before content releases. Anyone that wants to level at the standard pace will be able to disable the buff by visiting Innkeepers in any major city.

Joyous Journeys stacks with Heirloom equipment, providing you with a potential boost of 70% experience, or even 75% experience if you managed to win the Kulu’ak Fishing Derby.

The roads in Northrend are icy and fraught with danger. To help you continue your journey, players will get the benefit of the Joyous Journeys experience buff*, which will increase experience gains by 50% for all players through level 80! It’s a great time to finish leveling a character, create a new one, or invite friends to join you in your adventures.

Players can also visit any innkeeper in the capital cities and Dalaran to turn the experience buff off or on. The Joyous Journey’s experience buff will be available during the Ice Crown Citadel content update and until further notice.

*Experience buff not available in modern World of Warcraft® or World of Warcraft® Classic Era.

I love MMOs of all shades, especially the nitty gritty numbers parts of them. You might recognize me from the Shadow Priest discord, otherwise I play a little bit of everything, especially games with support roles available.
