WotLK Classic Releases On Sept 26, 2022

Today Blizzard updated their official WoW Classic website to announce that the release date for WotLK Classic will be September 26, 2022.
However moments after the website was updated, the date was again removed. We can be pretty confident based upon recent experiences that this will be the correct date unless something changes, and that the date was published on accident.
