How to Get the Temporal Anomaly Rune

To get the Temporal Anomaly rune, visit the Librarian you spoke with for the Icy Veins and Spell Power runes to start the quest A Lesson in Literacy. You must be at least level 42 to pick up this quest.

Here are the locations for the librarians for each faction:

Garon Wendell is located in the Mage Quarter of Stormwind City (38, 81).

Owen Thadd is located in the Magic Quarter of Undercity (74, 33).

The quest will send you to collect three items:

Pristine Owlbeast Quill x1 from owlkins scattered around The Hinterlands
Zukk’ash Resin x5 from Silithids in southeast Feralas
Farraki Papyrus x8 from zombies in the Zul’Farrak dungeon

Turn in all of the items above to learn the rune and get your Personal Spellbook, which will allow you to conjure Comprehension Charms for free!
