Where to Find the Master Channeler Rune in Season of Discovery (SoD)

This guide will cover how to get the Master Channeler rune for Warlocks in Season of Discovery. We’ll go over all of the locations and requirements in the walkthrough below as well as any useful tips and tricks.

How to Get the Master Channeler Rune

To get the Master Channeler rune, you will need to be level 12.

Head to Loch Modan and look for Greishan Ironstove, a traveling merchant who can be found along the road that runs north to south on the west side of the zone, sometimes stopping in Thelsamar. He sells a Malevolent Pie for 5.

Eat the pie and you’ll get a debuff called Hellish Indigestion. It lasts for about 10 seconds. When it expires, you’ll take some damage and the Rune of Channeling will appear in your inventory. Right-click the item to learn the rune.

To get the Master Channeler rune, you will need to be at least level 14 and have Curse of Recklessness trained.

Head to Silverpine Forest and enter the Deep Elem Mine, a cave full of worgen, in the center of the zone at 56.6, 46.4. At the end of the cave you’ll find a level 19 elite demon, Sadistic Fiend. Use Curse of Recklessness on him and defeat him to loot the Rune of Channeling. Right-click this item to learn the rune.

To get the Master Channeler rune, you will need to be level 12 and have Health Funnel trained.

Head to The Barrens and locate the Altar of Thorns at Thorn Hill, east of the Crossroads around 58.0, 26.0. Cast Life Tap until you are low health and the spell fizzles, then use Health Funnel on your pet until you die. (You can also just use Health Funnel, but Life Tap is quicker.)

Upon death you will be immediately revived and rewarded with the Rune of Channeling. Right-click this item to learn the rune.

To get the Master Channeler rune, head to Westfall and kill any of the following Harvesters around the farms that are scattered across the zone:

One of them will drop Spare Reaper Parts.

Next, kill the Dust Devil air elementals that can be found in the open fields of the zone to get an Elemental Core. Then you can right-click either of these items to combine them into a Prototype Engine.

Find a friendly Harvest Reaper Prototype at one of the farms. This is a level 18 mechanical creature. Use the Prototype Engine to activate it and it will attack you. Kill it to loot the Rune of Channeling. Right-click this item to learn the rune.
