Where to Find the Haunt Rune in Season of Discovery (SoD)

This guide will cover how to get the Haunt rune for Warlocks in Season of Discovery. We’ll go over all of the locations and requirements in the walkthrough below as well as any useful tips and tricks.

How to Get the Haunt Rune

This is the first rune you’ll be able to pick up, and you’ll do so through a quest in your race’s starting zone. Unlike other Warlock runes, this rune can only be obtained in your race’s starting zone. You won’t be able to complete the quest in other starting zones.

To get the Haunt rune, you must first reach level 2. You’ll then be able to pick up the quest Stolen Power from Alamar Grimm, the Warlock Trainer in Anvilmar, the large building in Coldridge Valley in Dun Morogh (28.7, 66.1).

This quest will send you to find a Rockjaw Footlocker among the troggs southwest of the building (26, 72). Loot the chest for a Rune of Haunting which you can right-click to learn the rune.

To get the Haunt rune, you must first reach level 2. You’ll then be able to pick up the quest Stolen Power from Nartok, the Warlock Trainer at The Den in the Valley of Trials in Durotar (28.7, 66.1).

This quest will send you to find a Waterlogged Stashbox in the Burning Blade cave at the north end of the Valley of Trials (26, 72). The chest is in the water on the lower level of the cave. Loot it for a Rune of Haunting which you can right-click to learn the rune.

To get the Haunt rune, you must first reach level 2. You’ll then be able to pick up the quest Stolen Power from Drusilla La Salle, the Warlock Trainer on the south side of Northshire Abbey in Elwynn Forest (49.8, 42.6).

This quest will send you to find a Defias Stashbox near the two outhouses in the Northshire Vinyards to the southeast (52.6, 51.8). Loot the chest for a Rune of Haunting which you can right-click to learn the rune.

To get the Haunt rune, you must first reach level 2. You’ll then be able to pick up the quest The Lost Rune from Maximillion, the Warlock Trainer at Deathknell in Tirisfal Glades (30.9, 66.3).

This quest will send you to find a Lost Stash inside the Night’s Web Hallow cave in the northeast of Deathknell (28, 58). Loot the chest for a Rune of Haunting which you can right-click to learn the rune.
