Rune Engraving is a new system for Season of Discovery. It allows each class to tailor their gameplay experience by unlocking new unique abilities! In this guide you’ll find all of the runes that are currently available for Priests in Phase 5 of SoD as well as some new skill books and class items.

Priest Epic Class Discoveries

In addition to their powerful Benediction/Anathema staff from Vanilla WoW, Phase 5 added a new class quest for Priests that rewards another epic class item, the trinket Cassandra’s Tome. To find out how to get your hands on this powerful new Priest item, check out our Cassandra’s Tome Guide.

Priest Racial Unlock

Priests in Vanilla WoW have powerful and unique abilities that they gain through their race, and in Season of Discovery, Priests can now access an additional ability from another race. Check out our guide below for more details on how this works.

Priest Skill Books

In addition to runes, there are also skill books in the game that will teach you new spells. Here are the skill books that are available for Priests in Season of Discovery.

Priest Runes

One important thing to note when collecting Priest runes is that many of them require Meditations. To gain your own race’s meditation, you will need to use the method you used for the quest to obtain the Penance rune. This is different for every race. Some runes also require a second mediation buff from another race. Check out our guide below for how to get your priest meditation buffs!

New Runes in Phase 5

There were two new runes added for the Finger slot in Phase 5 of Season of Discovery: Healing Specialization and Meditation Specialization.
