How to Get the Honor Among Thieves Rune

Get ready for another letter from the mysterious “C!” When you reach level 45, check your mailbox. Then head to Ravenholdt Manor in Alterac Mountains. This area can be reached through a path in the hills just across the river from Tarren Mill in Hillsbrad Foothills. Speak with Fahrad at 84.6, 80.2 to start the quest Fool Me Twice. He’ll tell you who “C” really is and then give you another quest, The Talisman of Kazdor.

Travel to the Zul’Farrak dungeon in Tanaris. As with the previous rune discoveries involving “C,” you’ll need to enter the dungeon alone. Stealth through and loot two Vile Concoctions from jars inside tents. You will use these on two specific cauldrons in the dungeon. Throwing them will not break stealth.

Use one of the Vile Concoctions on the cauldron near Antu’sul to loot an Offering of Bone from his satchel.
Use the other Vile Concoction on the cauldron near Witch Doctor Zum’rah to loot a Ward of the Dead from his satchel.

Equip the Ward of the Dead to reveal a grave and loot an Offering of Flesh, which you can combine with the Offering of Bone to get a Blood Magic Essence.

Go to the right of the pyramid steps and climb the wall to loot a Hollow Emblem from a chest. Combine this item with the Blood Magic Essence to get an Emblem of Blood Magic.

Next, open the Spellbound War Chest at the top of the pyramid to loot the Talisman of Kazdor that you need to complete the quest.

Head back to Ravenholdt Manor and speak with Zan Shivsproket down the stairs to turn in the quest and begin One Last Drop.

Now it’s time to return to the little house just outside Pyrewood Village in Silverpine Forest (47.1, 71.1) where you left items for “C” previously. Interact with the chest inside to turn in the quest.

Then return to Ravenholdt Manor one more time and speak with Fahrad to complete Biding Our Time and receive your Rune of the Coterie along with the cloak Filcher’s Cowl.
