Where to Find the Between the Eyes Rune in Season of Discovery (SoD)

This guide will cover how to get the Between the Eyes rune for Rogues in Season of Discovery. We’ll go over all of the locations and requirements in the walkthrough below as well as any useful tips and tricks.

How to Get the Between the Eyes Rune

To get the Between the Eyes rune, head to the Forlorn Cavern in Ironforge and look for a Dusty Chest at 52, 13. It will be in an alcove to the right of the stairs outside the building with the Rogue Trainers. Beware that a pair of level 10 Cut-throat Muggers will spawn when you open it. If you loot the chest very quickly, you could run off without engaging in combat.

To get the Between the Eyes rune, head to the Drag in Orgrimmar and find the building with the Herbalism Trainer. Follow the rock wall on the right side of the building and you will see a Dusty Chest at 56, 45. Beware that three Back-alley Muggers will spawn when you open it. If you loot the chest very quickly, you could run off without engaging in combat.

To get the Between the Eyes rune, head to Cutthroat Alley in the Dwarven District of Stormwind City and find the house at the end of it. Go inside and head upstairs and look for a Dusty Chest next to the bed. Beware that a pair of level 10 Cut-throat Muggers will spawn when you open it. If you loot the chest very quickly, you could run off without engaging in combat.

To get the Between the Eyes rune, head to Gnarlpine Hold in the southwest of Teldrassil and Pick Pocket or kill Gnarlpine Augur, Gnarlpine Avenger, and Gnarlpine Pathfinder until you loot a Gnarlpine Stash Key.

Once you have the key, look for the Gnarlpine Stash in the same area, around (37.0, 83.0). It’s on a branch with several Gnarlpine enemies nearby. Loot Rune of Precision from the chest and right-click it to learn the rune.

To get the Between the Eyes rune, head to the northern coast of Tirisfal Glades and use Pick Pocket on Vile Fin Minor Oracle, Vile Fin Muckdweller, and Vile Fin Puddlejumper until you loot a Shipwreck Cache Key.

Once you have the key, look for a Shipwreck Cache underwater around 66.0, 25.5. It’s not actually inside the shipwreck, but nearby. Loot Rune of Precision from the chest and right-click it to learn the rune.
