Adding on to the changes originally slated for the weekly reset (Found Here), we have many more changes.

Hunters and their pets have received some substantial hits. In a hotfix, Kill Command will now only increase the damage of Claw and Bite, instead of all special attacks. This is a nerf primarily aimed at Scorpids and Wind Serpents, which ended up being way too strong with the 60% damage boost.

Alongside this, Hunter Pets have been changed to better scale with the Hunters Attack Power. The Attack Power coefficient has now been normalized based on the focus cost of abilities, meaning higher focus cost abilities will receive more benefit from Attack Power than lower cost abilities. Scorpid Poison will now also correctly spread its damage boost across all ticks, instead of granting the entire sum to each tick. Pets will also receive a smaller portion of the Hunters Armor and Stamina, making them less durable.

The last change for Hunters is a positive one. Aspect of the Lion will now correctly function as an Aura, meaning it should no longer buff your enemies, allies, and everyone else within shooting distance. You will also be able to use it alongside an Aspect. This should allow you to pick up talents such as Improved Aspect of the Hawk, as well as reduce the arguing in raids over which Hunter gets to be the main character. The spell will be renamed “Heart of the Lion” in a later hotfix, reflecting it no longer being an aspect.

Blackfathom Deeps has received a substantial change. Bosses previously had incredibly high resistances, especially for a level 25 raid. These have been brought more in line with what you would expect. All resistances have been brought down to at least 25 from 75, with some such as Phantasmal Priestesses on Kelris, and Corrosive Droplets having certain resistances entirely removed. This is great news for casters, as they were experiencing significant issues keeping up with physical DPS players because of the sky-high resistances.

Some smaller PvP changes have been made to the Ashenvale Event, making the Event-specific camps no longer delay their spawn if players are nearby.

Aggrend has also mentioned in a tweet that the team intends to aim for a “once a week cadence for class adjustments”, meaning we can expect regular balance changes every week for the foreseeable future.
