Efflorescence Rune Guide - Season of Discovery

This guide will cover how to get the Efflorescence rune for Druids in Season of Discovery. We’ll go over all of the locations and requirements in the walkthrough below as well as any useful tips and tricks.

How to Get the Efflorescence Rune

For the Efflorescence rune, head to Feralas and look for a night elf named Tyrisius in one of the towers at 57.2, 69.0. He’ll give you the quest Wisdom of the Guardians. You must be at least level 45 to pick up this quest and you will have to fight some level 50 enemies to complete it.

The quest will send you to defeat guardian spirits in three locations. You will need to locate shrines in each of the following places and then complete special objectives within the zone to summon the guardian.

Azshara:
- Locate the Shrine of the Beast (34.6, 49.0) on the northwest cliff of Ruins of Eldarath.
- Defeat a Child of Apa’ro, a white stag roaming in the ravine in the north of the zone around 42.8,33.6. This mob is immune to all spell damage, so you’ll need to do this in Cat Form or Bear Form. Kill it to loot a Sacred Stag Heart.
- Take the Sacred Stag Heart to the Shrine of the Beast to summon and defeat Whisperwing, a level 50 hippogryph.

The Hinterlands
- Find the Shrine of the Moon on top of a hill near the center of the map (66.2, 53.2).
- Cast Tranquility and then Hurricane on the shrine.
- This will summon Sagefeather, a level 50 moonkin, who you must defeat.

Feralas:
- Interact with the Shrine of the Warden (58.7, 52.4) near the entrance to Dire Maul to get the Duty of the Warden buff.
- Successfully use Remove Curse and Cure Poison on yourself. You can duel a Warlock and a Rogue to get yourself cursed and poisoned. You can also fight ogres and wasps to the south.
- Return to the Shrine while you have the Mark of the Warden buff and interact with it again to summon and defeat Blightbark, a level 50 treant.

When you have defeated all three guardians, return to Tyrisius in Ferals to turn in the quest and claim your reward: the Rune of Efflorescence as well as a trinket, Seed of Renewal.
