This guide will cover how to get the Lacerate rune for Druids in Season of Discovery. We’ll go over all of the locations and requirements in the walkthrough below as well as any useful tips and tricks.

How to Get the Lacerate Rune

To obtain the Lacerate rune, head to Darkshore and kill the Blackwood furbolgs that are all over the zone until one drops an item called Crab Treats. This item also has a rare chance to drop when fishing in the waters around Darkshore. Here are all of the mobs that can drop the item:

The easiest to farm will be the Pathfinders and Windtalkers, which can be found in the center of the zone just south of Auberdine. The drop late is low, so it may take some time.

Once you have the Crab Treats, head to the beach and use it on a Young Reef Crawler. Rune of Lacerate will appear in your bags and you can right-click it to learn the rune.

To obtain the Lacerate rune, head to Loch Modan and locate Khara Deepwater on the shore of the lake near Thelsamar, around 40, 39. Buy a Rainbow Fin Albacore Chum from her for 5silver 26copper.

When you have the chum, head into the lake and use it on a Young Threshadon. Rune of Lacerate will appear in your bags and you can right-click it to learn the rune.

Location of Khara Deepwater near 40.0, 39.0.

To obtain the Lacerate rune, head to The Barrens and look for some eggs in an Abandoned Snapjaw Nest next to the water in the Forgotten Pools at 44.7, 22.2. If it’s not there, you may need to wait for it to respawn. Click on it to loot an Abandoned Snapjaw Egg.

When you have the egg, bring it to the Empty Snapjaw Nest next to the water in Lushwater Oasis, around 48, 40. Click on the nest to place the egg, spawning an Oasis Snapjaw Hatchling. Rune of Lacerate will appear in your bags and you can right-click it to learn the rune.
