As an Arcane Mage, you must balance mana with damage as we are the main class that has a problem with this (want to buy lifetap for mage!) Here we shall go over both the AoE (Area of Effect) and Single Target rotations.
AoE
As any spec of mage, you have the best arsenal of any aoe with just Arcane Explosion, you can make this AoE ability even more potent by using the Blade of Eternal Darkness, which will essentially give you unlimited mana while using Arcane Explosion
Single Target
Single Target Wise you have two options with Frost or Fire as your next points.
Fire Rotation as Arcane is simple Cast Fireball with CD’s up, which is the same as Frost using Frostbolt. The Difference in rotation comes into play once you have Mage t2 set also known as the Netherwind Regalia as it allows you to instant cast spells that are shorter than 10s when it procs, which allows fire to use Pyroblast during this time (The proc can chain of the proc).
