April 4th Season of Discovery Hotfix Includes Fix for Talent Spec Swaps in Battlegrounds

The server are groaning, the runes are being hunted, and we’ve got a hotfix patch for Season of Discovery.

Crucially, players can now activate their other talent specialization while under the preparation aura in Battlegrounds. Additionally, Efflorescence will now work even when Swiftmend is used on a guardian or pet belonging to a party member, and Healing Rain can now no longer be cast when it targets a non-player.

Some fixes to Nightmare Incursions are also in today’s hotfix: Vengeful Ancient and Doomkin were classified as Rare Elites, but this has been changed to regular Elite. Additionally, you’ll now be rewarded with cross-faction credit for defeating Larsera, Florius, Ylanthrius, and Tyrannikus.

Zanzil the Outcast received some changes as well — Ward of Zanzil will now despawn after 30 seconds, summon less skeletons, and be recast less frequently. Ward of Zanza no longer has totem immunities, and its Zombies will despawn after a brief period of time.

Rounding out the hotfix, the Crystal Shore Blood Moon graveyard has been moved further north.

Players can now correctly activate their other talent specialization while under the effects of the preparation aura in Battlegrounds.
Druid
- Efflorescence will now work properly when Swiftmend is used on a guardian or pet belonging to a party member.
Shaman
- Healing Rain can no longer be cast when targeted a non-player (as intended in its text).
Nightmare Incursions
- Vengeful Ancient and Doomkin are now categorized Elite (was Rare Elite).
- Credit for defeating Larsera, Florius, Ylanthrius, and Tyrannikus is now awarded cross-faction.
The Blood Moon
- Zanzil the Outcast
  - Ward of Zanzil will now despawn after 30 seconds, summon a reduced number of zombie skeletons, and will be recast less frequently.
  - Ward of Zanza no longer has totem immunities, and Zombies will despawn after a short period of time.
- The Crystal Shore Blood Moon graveyard is now farther north.
