This guide will cover how to get the Sudden Death rune for Warriors in Season of Discovery. We’ll go over all of the locations and requirements in the walkthrough below as well as any useful tips and tricks.
To acquire the rune, you will have to go to Silithus and find the Wandering Swordsman. He can be found in multiple locations, patrolling the areas of Silithus. A direct spawn point has been confirmed at (34.0, 68.0), if you are willing to wait, or you can check for him around (32.1, 24.4) or (48.0, 61.1) coordinates. You will need to be at least level 55 to be able to interact with him.

Interacting with the Wandering Swordsman will get you the Infinite Midnight quest — you will get teleported to a special platform where you will have to defeat a Titanic Watcher and a set of adds. The encounter with the watcher is split into 3 different difficulties. The Watcher will mock you for finishing the encounter on the Easy Difficulty, but he will reward you if you manage to complete the challenge on either Medium or Hard Difficulties.
The encounter with the Titanic Watcher is difficult, including multiple mechanics which must be avoided:
When the watcher performs Crescent Smash, you will have to avoid the red area on the platform — just jump to the other side of it
When the watcher performs Thunder Clap, you will have to run to the black corner of the platform and face his way (otherwise you will be knocked back)
