Throughout the continent of Khaz Algar you’ll encounter many unique, named, rare enemies. Defeating these enemies is required for an Adventurer achievement in each zone. They also reward reputation for the zone’s major faction once per week for your Warband. This guide will cover all of their locations and how to summon some of the trickier ones. But first, here are the four achievements you can earn:
- Adventurer of the Isle of Dorn
- Adventurer of The Ringing Deeps
- Adventurer of Hallowfall
- Adventurer of Azj-Kahet
Isle of Dorn
These rares found in the Isle of Dorn are required for the Adventurer of the Isle of Dorn achievement, and offer 150 reputation each with the Council of Dornogal once per week.
These rares scale from level 70 to level 73, and only count as a rare mob the first time you kill them on a character:
- Bloodmaw (42.4, 76.6)
- Emperor Pitfang (47.8, 60.2)
- Rustul Titancap (35.9, 74.9)
- Sandres the Relicbearer (62.8, 68.4)
- Springbubble (58.7, 60.6)
- Warphorn (58.6, 37.4)
These rares are always level 80 and will always count as a rare mob when killed. Mobs marked with an asterisk (*) are Elites:
- Alunira (23.2, 58.4)
- To break her shield, you will need 10 Crackling Shards, which can be looted rarely from any mob in the zone
- Rewards the Alunira mount to the player who broke her shield
- Clawbreaker K’zithix (55.8, 27.6)
- Escaped Cutthroat (25.6, 45.4)
- Flamekeeper Graz (64.0, 40.6)
- Gar’loc (53.6, 80.0)
- Kereke (30.8, 52.4)
- Rotates spawn with Rotfist and Zovex
- Kronolith, Might of the Mountain (48.2, 26.8)
- Matriarch Charfuria* (72.8, 40.4)

- Right next to Matriarch Charfuria
- Twice-Stinger the Wretched (57.0, 22.6)
- Zovex (30.8, 52.4)
- Rotates spawn with Kereke and Rotfist
The Ringing Deeps
These rares found in The Ringing Deeps are required for the Adventurer of The Ringing Deeps achievement, and offer 150 reputation each with The Assembly of the Deeps once per week.
These rares scale from level 73 to level 75, and only count as a rare mob the first time you kill them on a character:
- Aquellion (49.6, 66.2)
- Candleflyer Captain (66.8, 29.8)
- Deathbound Husk (66.7, 68.8)
- King Splash (42.8, 35.0)
- Rampaging Blight (57.6, 54.8)
These rares are always level 80 and will always count as a rare mob when killed. Mobs marked with an asterisk (*) are Elites:
- Automaxor (52.0, 20.0)
- Charmonger (41.6, 17.0)
- Coalesced Monstrosity (58.0, 38.2)
- Cragmund (51.0, 46.4)
- Deepflayer Broodmother* (53.8, 18.0)
- Has a chance to drop the Earthen Adventurer’s Tabard cosmetic
- Disturbed Earthgorger* (66.9, 52.5)
- You’ll get a “Stomp” ability when you’re close which will draw it out of the ground
- Hungerer of the Deeps* (65.3, 49.8)

- Lurker of the Deeps* (60.8, 76.7)
- Summoned by pulling 5 levers within about 10 seconds (you will need multiple people for this).

- Can drop the Regurgitated Mole Reins mount
- Summoned by pulling 5 levers within about 10 seconds (you will need multiple people for this).
- Spore-infused Shalewing* (67.8, 51.3)
- Terror of the Forge (47.6, 11.6)
- Trungal (71.7, 46.3)
- Cave entrance at 72.9, 44.4; kill the Roots of Trungal to summon it
- Zilthara (52.0, 26.8)
Hallowfall
These rares found in Hallowfall are required for the Adventurer of Hallowfall achievement, and offer 150 reputation each with the Hallowfall Arathi once per week.
These rares scale from level 75 to level 77, and only count as a rare mob the first time you kill them on a character:
- Deepfiend Azellix (72.0, 64.2)
- Funglour (36.8, 71.8)
- Grimslice (34.2, 52.0)
- Ixlorb the Spinner (57.0, 64.2)
- Murkshade (51.9, 27.4)
These rares are always level 80 and will always count as a rare mob when killed. Mobs marked with an asterisk (*) are Elites:
- Beledar’s Spawn* — multiple spawn points, spawns whenever Beledar goes dark
- Beledar’s Attunement will allow you to see its spawn location on the zone map (requires Renown 23 with the Hallowfall Arathi)
- Can drop the Beledar’s Spawn mount
- Crazed Cabbage Smacker* (64.7, 29.7)
- Spawns when the Whirring Field Keyflame goes out in the Spreading the Light event
- Croakit* (67.4, 23.4)
- Fish up 10 Shadowblind Groupers from the schools nearby and throw them at him until he attacks you
- Deathpetal* (63.2, 31.4)
- Spawns when the Fungal Field Keyflame goes out in the Spreading the Light event
- Deathtide* (44.7, 42.4)
- Summoned by using an Ominous Offering near the altar at this location. You can make an Ominous Offering by combining Offering of Pure Water and Jar of Mucus, which are found at multiple locations across the zone. You may need to be level 80 to pick them up.
- Can drop the Earthen Adventurer’s Spaulders cosmetic
- Duskshadow* (64.4, 18.8)
- Spawns when the Torchlight Mine Keyflame goes out in the Spreading the Light event
- Finclaw* Bloodtide (60.5, 18.4)
- Spawns when the Faded Shore Keyflame goes out in the Spreading the Light event
- Horror of the Shallows (22.1, 49.0)
- This shark patrols a wide swath of coast from near the Veneration Grounds to the tip of Lorel’s Crossing
- Lytfang the Lost (23.0, 59.2)
- Moth’ethk* (63.4, 28.8)
- Spawns when the Light’s Blooming Keyflame goes out in the Spreading the Light event
- Murkspike* (62.4, 13.2)
- Spawns when the Bleak Sand Keyflame goes out in the Spreading the Light event
- Parasidious* (64.4, 31.0)
- You’ll first need to purchase Darkroot Grippers from Chef Dinaire, who appears when the Lesser Keyflame is lit at Duskrise Acreage. Then tug on Shadowrooted Vines nearby until one spawns the mob.

Azj-Kahet
These rares found in Azj-Kahet are required for the Adventurer of Azj-Kahet achievement, and offer 50 reputation each with each of three The Severed Threads Pact leaders once per week.
These rares are level 78 and only count as a rare mob the first time you kill them on a character:
- Abyssal Devourer (46.3, 38.5)
- Ahg’zagall (37.9, 42.6)
- Rhak’ik & Khakik (44.8, 39.8)
- Vilewing (35.1, 38.4)
