There are plenty of mouthwatering treats to sample, so get ready to dig in!

Date: Nov. 24 – Dec. 1, 2024
Location: Cities throughout Azeroth

Recent Updates:

  • Bountiful Tables were added in Dornogal in 2024. Nothing else about the event has changed this year.

Rewards

Participating in Pilgrim’s Bounty offers a range of rewards including achievements, holiday-themed clothing, two pets, and of course, seasonal recipes. Most rewards are available to all players with the exception of the Turkey Soul Crittershape, which is only available to players who have chosen the Night Fae covenant in Heart of the Forest, Ardenweald (Shadowlands expansion).

Pilgrim’s Bounty Attire

Cosmetic attire for Pilgrim’s Bounty are required for some of the event’s achievements, and are obtained by completing daily quests. In return, players will be allowed to choose one appropriate piece of attire for their class, plus receive Pilgrim’s Bounty, which will contain seasonal rewards and a chance at a Fine Pilgrim’s Hat.

Cooking Recipes

Pilgrim’s Bounty recipes are learned from the Bountiful Cookbook, which players can purchase from Pilgrim’s Bounty Vendors in all faction capitals for the low, low cost of one silver. Most of the required ingredients can also be found at the seasonal vendors as well, but you’ll need to set off on a hunting trip for those turkeys!

Activities

Most of the action in Pilgrim’s Bounty is centered around cooking and eating, making it the perfect holiday for players who want to level up their Classic Cooking (1-300). Get ready to seek out special ingredients, recreate traditional holiday recipes, and deliver them to hungry NPCs in exchange for some yummy rewards!

Bountiful Tables

Share your holiday spirit by joining a Bountiful Table along with other players! Here, you’ll have the opportunity to feast, share with others, and complete a few achievements in the process. Tables have five different chairs, each of which has a different associated seasonal dish to eat while you’re seated. The chairs are labeled with the dish available. Upon seating, your action bar will be replaced by abilities that are unique to each chair’s food:

  • Pass the food to the next player
  • Eat a single serving
  • Eat multiple servings

Eat five servings of each food to gain its respective buff. Once you have all five food buffs at the same time, you’ll receive a 10% reputation gain (The Spirit of Sharing). Once you’ve had your fill, pass the dish on to the next player. If they’ve already eaten their share, they can’t accept another serving and you’ll accidentally bounce the plate off their head! If this “accidentally” happens to you for each of the five dishes, you’ll get the achievement “FOOD FIGHT!”.

  • Alliance Bountiful Tables:
    • Faction Capitals: Darnassus, Exodar, Ironforge, Stormwind City
    • All minor towns that have an Innkeeper
  • Horde Bountiful Tables:
    • Faction Capitals: Orgrimmar, Silvermoon City, Thunder Bluff, Undercity
    • All minor towns that have an Innkeeper
  • Neutral Bountiful Tables:
    • Dornogal, Light’s Hope Chanel, Ruins of Thaurissan

Quests

There are a couple of introductory quests for both factions, plus six quests that will help players level up those Cooking skills! Unlike the event dailies, these questions do require players to complete the actual cooking for each dish – no store bought cheat meals here!

  • Pilgrim’s Bounty: This is the breadcrumb quest for Pilgrim’s Bounty that will bring players to the celebration area.
    • Start: Event commoners in Alliance cities
    • End: Gregory Tabor, Elwynn Forest

Daily Quests

Each major city also offers a set of cooking daily quests that players can complete for additional rewards. If cooking isn’t your thing, never fear – these quests simply require delivering the requested dish to the specified NPC. Feel free to cook or purchase the completed dish for credit. If you still need the recipes, don’t forget to purchase a Bountiful Cookbook from Pilgrim’s Bounty Vendors in all faction capitals.

If you plan on completing the cooking dailies for the whole week and want to prepare ahead, here’s your shopping list (per day). Seasonal fruits, veggies, and other ingredients can be found at Pilgrim’s Bounty vendors within the named zones, or as special drops from mobs that spawn for the season.

  • Autumnal Herbs (60)
  • Honey (100)
  • Mild Spices (20)
  • Simple Flour (20)
  • Teldrassil Sweet Potato (20)
  • Ripe Elwynn Pumpkin (20)
  • Tangy Wetland Cranberries (20)
  • Wild Turkey (20)

Achievements

Once you’ve mastered Pilgrim’s Bounty’s nine achievements, you’ll earn the achievement Pilgrim and accompanying title <the Pilgrim>, plus receive a Plump Turkey pet! Unlike other world holiday events, completing the meta for this holiday will not award credit toward What a Long, Strange Trip It’s Been (the achievement for the Violet Proto-Drake).

  • “FOOD FIGHT!”: Bounce food off a fellow feaster’s head at a Bountiful Table.
    • Tip: Do this one while you’re at a Bountiful Table for Pilgrim’s Paunch and Sharing is Caring! You may need to work with the other players to take turns passing food to someone who is already full and can’t accept another dish. Once this happens, you will miss, resulting in the food bouncing off the player’s head. Fun!

  • Now We’re Cookin’: Cook up one of every Pilgrim’s Bounty dish.
    • Tip: You’ll need at least 280 in Classic Cooking for this one, which you should be able to make progress on during cooking dailies. The ingredients for each dish can be purchased from any of the Pilgrim’s Bounty vendors.

  • Pilgrim’s Paunch (A) / Pilgrim’s Paunch (H): Acquire the Spirit of Sharing from a complete Bountiful Table feast at every faction capital.
    • Tip: While you’re here, be sure to knock out Sharing is Caring, too. Find a table, and take a seat at each of the five chairs, eating give helpings of each dish. Completing this also will grant a 10% reputation gain buff (The Spirit of Sharing) for an hour.

  • Pilgrim’s Peril (A) / Pilgrim’s Peril (H): While wearing either a Pilgrim’s Dress, Robe, or Attire, take a seat at each enemy capital’s Bountiful Table.
    • Tip: This one does require becoming flagged for PvP, so you may want to try a lower pop server, during non-peak hours, or with a group of friends.

  • Pilgrim’s Progress (A) / Pilgrim’s Progress (H): Complete each of the Pilgrim’s Bounty dailies.
    • Tip: There are five dailies available to complete each day. Each quest is a food turn-in, but you don’t have to actually cook the dish to receive quest credit. That’s right – this means you can cook ahead of time or buy from another player!

  • Sharing is Caring: Pass one of every dish at a Bountiful Table.
    • Tip: Find a Bountiful Table and sit down! Each chair will give you different abilities on your action bar. Eating the dish is an optional, but for this achievement, pass it to another player seated at the table!

  • Terokkar Turkey Time: Defeat Talon King Ikiss while wearing a Pilgrim’s Hat and either a Pilgrim’s Dress, Robe, or Attire.
    • Tip: Talon King Ikiss is located Sethekk Halls in Terokkar Forest. Your character must meet the current level requirement for the dungeon, but it can be completed on either Normal or Heroic.

  • The Turkinator: Hunt enough Wild Turkeys quickly enough to gain Turkey Triumph.
    • Tip: “Enough” turkeys is 40, and “quickly enough” means “no more than 30 seconds apart.” Like other similar quests, this one may be more difficult near the beginning of the event. With some patience, you’ll find the turkey population is a bit larger as the amount of people attempting it at the same time subsides.

  • Turkey Lurkey: Blast those dirty, sneaking Rogues with your Turkey Shooter.
    • Tip: The Turkey Shooter is obtained from event daily quests, but is consumed on use. Make sure you continue doing dailies to get the item 10 times!
