Dragonflight Hotfixes – Paladin Tweak, Aberrus Nerfs, Neltharus Fix

dragonflight hotfixes paladin tweak, aberrus nerfs, neltharus fix

With Paladins receiving large sets of changes in the near past it’s good to see them performing fairly well right now. For the change we see this week it allows Crusading Strikes to trigger Empyrean Power. Perhaps a buff to AoE for the more auto-attack focused build that’s been gaining some popularity.

For the Aberrus nerfs, Kassara is going to have her health cut by 10% on Mythic difficulty as well as her Infernal Fusion ability damage nerfed by the same amount. Kassara was probably the toughest opening boss to a raid on Mythic that has been seen in quite a long time, so this will definitely help guilds trying to take steps into Mythic or worried about reclears. Two of the bosses past her are actually much easier!

There’s also some serious Sarkareth nerfs as well as a visual clarity buff that should serve as nice quality of life for progression on the boss. These nerfs to ability damage are on all difficulties, so whether you’re seeking AoTC or Cutting Edge this should be a welcome change.

As for Neltharus, there was a bug that stopped Chargath from deploying his chain attack, making the encounter quite a mess without the crucial mechanic for it existing! But for the rest of the notes, make sure to read on below.
