Ion Hazzikostas confirmed that Dynamic Flying will allow players to choose between dynamic flight (dragonriding style) and the traditional style of flight that we currently use in non-Dragon Isles zones. So you can opt to stick with whichever format you prefer.
Not only that, but dragonriding will be available in all flying zones as of 10.2.5! You won’t have to wait until the next expansion to use this feature anywhere you want.
This option will be available in all areas of the game where flying is currently possible. So you’ll be able to dragonride all over Azeroth and beyond.
Much like dragonriding in Dragonflight, dynamic flight will be available on day one in Khaz Algar, the new subcontinent. You won’t need to spend several months and complete several achievements to unlock it. Traditional flying will need to be unlocked by playing through the campaign and exploring the continent, similar to past expansions but without any reputation grind.
Finally, he restated that the current dragonriding glyph system will transition into a new evergreen system, allowing you to utilize all of the same abilities in dynamic flight.
