Dragonflight: Fury Incarnate Notes – Restoration Druid Nerf

dragonflight fury incarnate notes restoration druid nerf

The notes are mainly focused on Restoration Druids this time around with a 6% nerf to all healing in PvE and a 4% nerf to all healing in PvP. While this may appear like a straight nerf on paper, there is a bit more context involved.

Resto Druids are going to be seeing a bit of a change to their talent trees and playstyle with the Grove Guardians talent and having these summons increase their throughput. According to Blizzard, this should balance out and be “net-neutral”. We’re still in the testing phase of things, though, as nothing is live yet. Any mistakes in under/over tuning can be corrected quite easily, so I imagine we’ll see further tweaks as the full throughput for the spec is seen.

  • DRUID
    • Restoration
      • All healing reduced by 6%. Does not apply in PvP combat.
        • Developers’ note: This adjustment is intended to be a near net-neutral change in overall healing throughput to give room for the new Grove Guardians talent to represent a non-negligible amount of healing.

PLAYER VERSUS PLAYER

  • DRUID
    • Restoration
      • All healing reduced by 4%.

USER INTERFACE AND ACCESSIBILITY

  • PING SYSTEM
    • You can restrict pings to leaders and assistants in the group control menu.
    • A tutorial for the Ping System can be accessed on the Options > Ping System page.
  • You can set a bag to ignore the Sell All Junk button (access Bag Settings by clicking the bag’s top-left icon).
