This Week in Dragonflight: Dungeon Event and Two Holidays

this week in dragonflight dungeon event and two holidays

We’re entering the second week of a double-holiday event in World of Warcraft! Here’s everything that’s going on this week in Dragonflight.

The new weekly bonus event starting tomorrow is a Dragonflight Dungeon Event. Speak with Kazra in Valdrakken or check your Adventure Guide for the weekly quest. You’ll also see a passive buff that will cause the final boss from each dungeon to drop an additional piece of loot, excluding Mythic+ difficulties.

This week’s PvP Brawl is Deep Six. This brawl takes you into some familiar resource race battlegrounds (Warsong Gulch, Silvershard Mines, and Temple of Kotmogu), where you’ll be playing on reduced teams of six players with some slightly altered rules.

The Mythic Dungeon International 2024 begins February 16th. Tune in to watch the top teams race through Season 3 Mythic+ dungeons.

Finally, the Lunar Festival holiday runs through February 17th and Love is in the Air continues until February 19th. There are plenty of achievements and unique rewards to be had from each!

Each week we’ll look ahead to what’s in store for World of Warcraft, share the latest news, and keep you in the know byte by byte. Hearthstone looks ahead toward celebrating 10 Years in the Tavern and WoW Hardcore launches Self-Found Mode on February 29.

WORLD OF WARCRAFT JOINS HEARTHSTONE’S 10-YEAR ANNIVERSARY FESTIVITIES

Join in Hearthstone’s 10-year anniversary celebration beginning March 11. Players can log into Hearthstone to collect a new Fiery Hearthsteed mount in World of Warcraft for free!*

Players can also seek out special “Hearthstone” matches in capital cities from March 11 to March 18. Stick around long enough and you’ll face a special encounter where you can defeat iconic minions to add to your deck and earn other fun new Hearthstone-themed rewards! More details to come.

Visit the Hearthstone official site to learn more about the full slate of festivities.

* No additional purchase necessary for the Fiery Hearthsteed mount. Limited-time offer only available to those who login to Hearthstone between March 11 and May 14. Mount not available in World of Warcraft® Classic games.

WoW Hardcore Self-Found Mode Begins February 29

Survival is the name of the game in Classic Hardcore realms, and while you don’t always have to go it alone, you might just want to. Beginning on February 29, you can take the leap into a new adventure in Hardcore with Self-Found.  In this mode, you’ll begin from level 1 and will be restricted from sending or receiving mail from other players, buying or selling on the Auction House, or trading in any way (including giving or receiving items or enchantments.)

It will all be up to you and your ability to explore, gather, and create everything you need to survive in Azeroth…all on your own.
