This transmog set includes a cloak, a headpiece, and Medivh’s iconic staff. It’s extremely stylish, and for any lore nerds out there or those looking to up their RP game this might prove the perfect set to go after. There is a catch, though, as this set is currently in the paid shop for World of Warcraft until the end of the month. That being said this transmog set will be available through the Trading Post somewhere between September and the end of the year.
This is apparently an experiment Blizzard is trying out to see if players would be willing to pay for a guarantee at a cosmetic and with the benefit of early access to it. An intriguing idea that still allows access to the cosmetic to anyone with a subscription. As a card-carrying Patient Gamer™, myself, I think I’d be okay with this type of monetization model. This month we’re trying something new. We’re previewing some items which will be coming to the Trading Post within the next year. These items will be introduced to the Trading Post no sooner than 3 months after the pack leaves the Shop, however. Similar to items that can be purchased on the Trading Post, the pack will only be available for early purchase for the period of one month.

* The Guardian Pack leaves the Battle.net Shop indefinitely on May 31, 2023. The items will appear on the Trading Post sometime between September 1, 2023, and December 31, 2023.
