Dragonflight’s “Greedy Emissary” Event Heralds Diablo 4’s Launch!

dragonflights greedy emissary event heralds diablo 4's launch!

What is this, a crossover episode? Over the years Blizzard has embraced their distinct gaming worlds having small crossovers, and with a new Diablo title on the horizon they’ve decided to pay homage to the dark fantasy series with a cute event for their retail WoW players.

That joy of seeing a treasure goblin spawn in and frantically trying to get them to drop their stolen goods before they port off into the aether is now a feeling not limited to Diablo! There will be greedy goblins (And not of the Gallywix type) in the capital cities as well as all areas of the Dragon Isles from May 25th through June 14th.

While these critters might seem comical with their oversized bags of treasure – they’re packing some serious loot! Diablo themed transmogs, pets, toys, and even mounts are available as potential drops and rewards. Check out the full list of items available for the event and how to participate below.

In a classic homage to Diablo, World of Warcraft® * is holding a special in-game event with hellish rewards.

Strange winds blow in from another world, and sightings of odd, bag-holding creatures spot the land. Find them and see what treasure they may hold!

When: May 25 at (10:00 a.m., Server Time) through June 14
Where: Across capital cities and Dragonflight zones.

Azeroth’s bravest must band together to deliver a swift end to a greedy, saw-toothed thief. Those who are successful will be rewarded with themed loot inspired by the world of Sanctuary:

Join the hunt to stop the greedy emissary taunting the citizens of Azeroth.

* Event not available in World of Warcraft® Classic Era and Wrath of the Lich King Classic™.
