With season 2 hot on our heels there’s going to be some large changes to certain classes and specs. Warlocks will be seeing some of that once patch 10.1 hits and Blizzard is making sure that current talents don’t have unintended effects with the incoming changes. Blizzard has been extremely on top of class balancing in Dragonflight and hopefully this will allow Warlocks to thrive instead of being relegated to a chore-person or being so powerful there’s 10 in each raid group!
For right now these changes won’t have much effect, but it’s being nipped in the bud before it gets a chance to become problematic. Take a look at the specifics in the notes below.

- Developers’ note: We discovered some unintended functionality with multiple Warlock talents and are fixing those now before the next season starts. We expect the impact of these fixes on player power to be minor, and we’ll monitor and make adjustments if necessary.
- Fixed an issue where Summon Soulkeeper could be cast while moving.

- Fixed an issue where Immutable Hatred would benefit Grimoire: Felguard.
Quests
- Players who were stuck on “A Difficult Legacy” will now be able to progress if they abandon the quest. It will now reset conversation progress.
