Content updates have been fast paced, and it appears that patch 10.1.7 is going to be no different. Development for it is already in progress, and we get to see a couple of sneak peeks at some potential content here.
Similar to what we see with “Time Rifts” this time around, a new public event called “Dreamsurges” will pop up in the original 4 Dragon Isles zones.
For those that love their cosmetics – heritage armor will be expanding to the Forsaken and Night Elves!
Finally, we see that the new mega-dungeon introduced this patch will be split into two Heroic-difficulty dungeons. A bit of a departure from how it was handled in the past, but this should allow more access to this fun dungeon and interesting story for the less hardcore players among us. This will likely still result in M+ versions of these dungeons, but likely not till 10.2.0.

While stalwart defenders are pushing back against the encroaching chaos from other timelines to ensure the preservation of the future, the next content update is in the making.
In Fury Incarnate, players can join forces in new public events—Dreamsurges, earn Forsaken and Night Elf Heritage Armor, band together to run Heroic difficulty for the Dawn of the Infinite mega-dungeon, follow Velen’s prophecy to reveal a new future for some of the draenei people—and more.
NEW PUBLIC EVENTS: DREAMSURGES
Each week one of the four original zones in the Dragon Isles—The Waking Shores, Ohn’ahran Plains, Thaldraszus, and The Azure Span—will be affected by Waking Dream portals across the zones. For those who seek an additional challenge, encounters with rare creatures and event bosses will also have a chance to drop upgraded gear.
NEW HERITAGE ARMOR QUESTLINE: FORSAKEN AND NIGHT ELF
Rock out and embrace your heritage with the new Forsaken and Night Elf Heritage Armor sets. New questlines will be available for both races to undertake and gain armor variations to add to their collection. Forsaken will also gain five new skin color variations, and the night elves can adorn themselves with additional choices of face and body tattoos.
DAWN OF THE INFINITE
The Infinite Dragonflight, long-standing enemies of the Bronze dragonflight, have worked hard to see their ultimate goal of triggering the transformation of Nozdormu, the Aspect of Time, into Murozond. This mega-dungeon will split into two Heroic difficulty dungeons that will take players across the timeways to stop the Infinite Dragonflight from succeeding. Work to sustain Azeroth’s timeline and put things to rights once more.
The Fury Incarnate content update will be making its way to the PTR soon. Keep an eye on the official forums for updates and patch notes once the PTR (English Only) is live.
