The isle of Tol Barad is a former Alliance stronghold housing the Baradin Hold prison, and Baradin’s Wardens are the Alliance-affiliated faction that is tasked with guarding and defending the island. Only Wow Alliance Crest Alliance players can gain reputation with them, with Horde gaining access to the Hellscream’s Reach faction instead.

Players start at Neutral with Baradin’s Wardens. This guide will cover how to get as far as Exalted with the faction.

Who Needs Baradin’s Wardens Rep?

Most Alliance characters will find something worthwhile at the Baradin’s Wardens Quartermaster, particularly the many epic trinkets that are available:

The Quartermaster also offers some useful utility items for use in Tol Barad:

Players can also collect a toy, two pets, and two mounts from the Quartermaster:

Beyond the items that can be bought from the faction, players who are collecting achievements may want to get Baradin’s Wardens reputation for the following:

  • Baradin’s Wardens
  • 40 Exalted Reputations (Title: “The Exalted”)

Unlike other Cataclysm factions, you can’t get reputation with Wow Alliance Crest Baradin’s Wardens/ Hellscream’s Reach by completing regular zone quests or by wearing the faction’s tabard in dungeons. Instead you will have to gain reputation with these factions through the Baradin’s Hold raid, participating in the Battle for Tol Barad, or by completing daily quests.

Also unlike other factions, daily quests for these two reputations are available immediately – you do not need to reach Friendly before you can unlock them.

Daily quests and the Battle for Tol Barad also award Tol Barad Commendations.10 of these can be exchanged for a Baradin’s Wardens Commendation, which gives 250 reputation.

Baradin’s Wardens Rep in Baradin Hold

Each boss in Baradin Hold awards 250 reputation with the Baradin’s Wardens faction when killed. This raid can only be cleared once per week, and your faction needs to be in control of Tol Barad in order to access it (much like the Vault of Archavon in Wintergrasp during Wrath of the Lich King).

Baradin’s Wardens Rep from the Battle for Tol Barad

If your faction wins the Battle for Tol Barad while you’re in the zone, you’ll be awarded 250 reputation with Baradin’s Wardens plus 3 Tol Barad Commendations.

You can also complete the weekly quest Victory in Tol Barad, which can be picked up from Major Marsden at Baradin Base Camp. This quest awards another 3 Tol Barad Commendations.

Baradin’s Wardens Dailies

There are two sets of dailies in Tol Barad that grant Baradin’s Wardens reputation. The larger bulk of the dailies are available at Baradin Base Camp on Tol Barad Peninsula. Another set becomes available in Tol Barad itself after your faction wins control of the area in the Battle for Tol Barad.

Tol Barad Peninsula Dailies

Baradin Base Camp is the main hub for Alliance in the zone, and it’s where you’ll find the larger chunk of Baradin’s Wardens dailies. All of these quests are worth 250 reputation and 1 Tol Barad Commendation with the lone exception of Shark Tank, which is worth 350 reputation and 2 Tol Barad Commendations.

Tol Barad Dailies

The Baradin’s Wardens daily quests in Tol Barad itself are only available when the Alliance controls the zone.

Sergeant Parker will always be there when Alliance is in control. His quests are each worth 250 reputation with Baradin’s Wardens. The other three NPCs will rotate depending on the cellblock that has been unlocked (which is random), and they offer quests that are worth 350 reputation each. Each of these quests also awards 1 Tol Barad Commendation.
