Helix Gearbreaker, the second boss in the newly revamped Deadmines dungeon, has been spawning repeatedly in Stormwind City on the Firemaw EU server for Cataclysm Classic. The boss is unkillable and is laying siege to the city, fighting guards at the Auction House and main gate and locking players in combat.
This only seems to be happening on one layer on this particular server, Layer 4. This is apparently a bug that existed in Cataclysm originally as well. It’s caused by leaving your group in Deadmines while the boss is active.
We imagine this bug will be fixed quickly now that it’s becoming widely known, but in the meantime it’s making for some interesting shenanigans!

Just had him attacking me in Dalaran on Mirage Raceway server! Had to jump off the city and die to get rid of him!
