The first round of raid testing for the Mists of Pandaria Classic Beta is scheduled to begin on Friday, May 16th, with Mogu’shan Vaults, one of three raids in the first tier of the expansion (Tier 14). There are two weekends currently planned for this raid, with the second falling on the weekend of May 30th.
Blizzard is also planning something new for this expansion’s Beta in the form of a test PvP season, which will begin on Thursday, May 22nd.
Level 90 template characters with ilvl 463 gear will become available for these tests. There will be special vendors in each faction’s capital city as well as their Shrine in Pandaria. Complete details for available vendors and exact dates can be found below.

We’re planning two Mogu’shan Vaults Beta weekends:
- Friday, May 16 – Monday, May 19
- Friday, May 30 – Monday, June 2
Raid weekends will begin at 1:00 p.m. PDT on Friday and end at 10:00 a.m. PDT on Monday.
FYI: we’re also planning something new for a Classic Beta, a test PvP Season. We intend to kick that off in the Beta on Thursday, May 22.

Yes, there will be level 90 template characters with iLvl 463 gear.
Vendors will be available in the following locations:
- Shrine of Two Moons – The Golden Terrace
- Shrine of Seven Stars – The Summer Terrace
- Orgrimmar – Valley of Strength
- Stormwind – Trade District
Vendors will include:
- Instructaur, to teach you max-level professions.
- Flaskataur, for all of your flask, potion, enchant, and gem needs.
- Glyphtaur, to acquire your glyphs.
- Dungeontaur, to acquire Heroic Pandaria dungeon loot (including rare and epic pieces) and reputation tokens for the major Pandaria factions.
- Donjon Rade, to teleport you to the raid.
