As the third week of testing begins for the Mists of Pandaria Classic Beta, players who have been invited to test will now be able to explore all of the launch zones for Pandaria and all of the expansion’s Normal and Heroic dungeons.
This includes quests in Dread Wastes, which were previously bugged and prevented players from progressing through the zone, as well as the original version of the Vale of Eternal Blossoms, before it was tainted in the final patch of the expansion. The addition of this final zone also grants access to the two major faction hubs on the continent.
Still unavailable in the Beta are pet battles, PvP battlegrounds, and Challenge Mode dungeons.
Welcome back to the Mists of Pandaria Classic Beta!
Throughout this Beta test period, we’ll be releasing additional content and features weekly, collecting your bug reports, deploying bug fixes and improvements, and running special testing events–including raids. Please keep an eye on this thread for information and updates.
For our third week of Beta, it’s time to return to the original version of the Vale of Eternal Blossoms. For the first time since Garrosh Hellscream found the Heart of Y’Shaarj and tainted the Vale in 5.4, we’ll have the chance to enter the uncorrupted, healthy version of the Vale once more.
Additionally, the Dread Wastes zone is now playable thanks to your feedback and bug reports from Beta Week 2.
Now available for testing:
- Zones: Vale of Eternal Blossoms and Dread Wastes.
- Dungeons: All Normal and Heroic Mists of Pandaria dungeons
Level 85 Mists of Pandaria character templates are available, and you can also copy your live characters from Cataclysm Classic.
Please note that the following major features will not be available this week, but will be arriving soon:

- Battle Grounds
- Challenge Mode Dungeons
