If you’ve been leveling in the Mists of Pandaria Beta and made it to the Dread Wastes zone, you may have found that the first quest in the chain is bugged and can’t currently be completed. This bug prevents progressing further in the zone’s storyline at the moment.
The developers plan to correct this in their next build later this week, opening up the zone for further testing.
Right now, the level 85-90 content in Pandaria is the focus of the Beta. Level 90 template characters are not yet available, and some endgame content is not in yet either, such as Challenge Mode dungeons.
We’ve discovered a bug preventing testers from completing the first quest in Dread Wastes, and therefore continuing the Dread Wastes storyline.
We expect to fix this and make the Dread Wastes zone available in our next Beta build later this week.
