PvE Destruction Warlock Best in Slot (BiS)

The biggest boost to your power as a Destruction Warlock will come from gear. Once you have started raiding in Mists of Pandaria Classic, you’ll be competing with other casters for equipment that provides the strongest stats and bonuses.

Warlocks can only use Cloth armor, and will receive 5% increased Intellect from all sources through their Nethermancy passive ability. Note that the Ranged equipment slot is gone in Mists of Pandaria, with Wands going into the Main-hand slot instead.

Phase 1 Best-in-Slot Items

Below is the best gear you can get in Phase 1 of MoP Classic, most of which will come from the three Tier 14 raids: Mogu’Shan Vaults, Heart of Fear, and Terrace of Endless Spring. Remember to gem, enchant, and reforge every item to optimize it fully!

Both Tier 14 set bonuses are worth pursuing for Destruction Warlocks. if you have your set bonuses covered, the Chest slot is the best option to swap out for a non-set piece. We’ve included alternatives for slots where there is at least one other item that is very close in terms of power.
