Combat Rogues in Mists of Pandaria seek items that increase their Hit, Expertise, Agility, Haste, Mastery, and Critical Strike Chance. In the lack of Haste options, they may choose items with Critical Strike Chance/Mastery, but they must reforge their gear to acquire as much Haste as possible.

Phase 1 Best-in-Slot

This is the best gear you can obtain in Phase 1 of Mists of Pandaria, including gear from the three Tier 14 raids: Mogu’Shan Vaults, Heart of Fear, and Terrace of Endless Spring. Don’t forget to gem, enchant, and reforge every item to complete your optimization.

Combat Rogues benefit from both T14 set bonuses, meaning achieving the 4-item set bonus is necessary for maximum performance. You may choose to use 5 T14 items or go with the traditional 4 set pieces and one offset piece.
