Mining Nodes, Locations, & Skill Requirements
Mists of Pandaria has brought a few changes for Mining, with some lower level deposits and veins having had their required skill level adjusted. There are also new deposits and veins to be mined in the continent of Pandaria. Below you’ll find all of the important details about every Mining node in the game.
Note that there are many quest-specific objects that can be tracked with Mining as well, but they do not provide crafting materials, so we’ve left those out of this guide.
Pandaria Deposits & Veins
At launch, all Mining nodes in Pandaria will require high-level Mining skill to be able to loot them. In later phases, it will become possible to mine these right from skill level 1, although you will only be able to loot parts instead of whole ores until you reach the recommended skill level.
