First Aid Overview: Bandages & Anti-Venoms

The First Aid profession allows players to craft their own bandages and anti-venoms. It’s a very simple skill with only a few recipes, but it can still be very useful, especially for classes with no other way to heal themselves.

What You Get From First Aid

There are only two types of recipes for First Aid: bandages and anti-venoms. These items allow you to heal a character or remove poison respectively.

Bandages

There are two new types of bandages in Mists of Pandaria. Windwool Bandage is your basic leveling bandage while Heavy Windwool Bandage is the max-level version. When you reach 600 skill level in First Aid, you’ll become better at crafting Heavy Windwool Bandage and will only need two pieces of Windwool Cloth to craft each one.

Below are all of the bandages in the game. Lower level bandages are too weak to be very useful at level 90, but are great for lower level characters.

Anti-Venoms

In addition to bandages, First Aid allows you to craft three different anti-venom items that can be used to remove low-level poisons. None of these work on poisons above level 60, however, so they will only be useful for leveling.
