WoW Hotfix May 3rd: Sepulcher Raid Scaling and Minor Class Tuning

While the May 3rd hotfixes are very brief, they were preceded by several changes that went live on the weekly realm restart for changes listed in May 2nd’s notes. Arms Warrior, Affliction Warlock, Outlaw Rogue, Windwalker Monk, and Beast Mastery Hunter have all received a 4% damage increase across the board, with the latter two specs not having the 4% applied in PvP. The Gladiator’s Echoing Resolve effect in PvP now increases crowd control durations by 25% instead of 20%, lasts 12 seconds instead of 15, and no longer applies to roots nor makes the target immune to roots.

In Sepulcher, Vigilant Guardian’s Unstable Core mechanic should no longer become non-interactive when dying with it. In Lihuvim’s encounter, Acquisitions Automa’s Detonation radius has been halved to 20 yards on Normal and Heroic, as well as having the cast time increased to 2.5 seconds on those difficulties.

Prototype Pantheon has had Wildstorm completely removed from Normal and Raid Finder, Sinful Projections removed from Heroic, and had health of Necrotic Ritualists and Withering Seeds health reduced on several difficulties. Both receiving a 30% health reduction in normal, the Ritualist’s receiving a 15% reduction and the Seeds a 20% reduction on Heroic, and the Seeds receiving a 10% reduction on Mythic difficulty. The Withering Seeds have also had an issue fixed where larger raid sizes gave them too much health scaling.

Halondrus’s Lightshatter Beam has had its damage reduced by 30% on all non-Mythic difficulties, and Reclaim’s periodic damage ramps slower on Heroic. Skolex’s Devouring Blood missile has had its travel time increased to 2.5 seconds, up from 2 on Heroic. Dausegne’s Disintegration Halo has had its debuff lowered from 6 to 5 seconds. Rygelon’s health has been reduced by 5% on Heroic, and Collapsing Quasar’s duration has been increased to 10 seconds on Normal and Heroic. The Jailer has received a few different changes, with all trapdoors in Phase 3 closing in Normal difficulty, Decimator’s Knockback reduced on Raid Finder and Normal, Misery’s knockback reduced on Normal, and Defile’s growth rate lowered on Normal Difficulty.
