A New Timewalking Event in Dragonflight Spans 6 Weeks!

a new timewalking event in dragonflight spans 6 weeks!

It has been a longstanding request from those in the community that timewalking shouldn’t be something that only happens once every 1-2 months, and should be a type of evergreen content. This seems to be Blizzard’s first foray into testing the waters on making that dream come true.

Not only will we see 6 straight weeks of timewalking content available to players, but the weekly quest that would typically give a normal difficulty VoTI piece of loot now gives a heroic difficulty piece of gear! We’re going to be starting with Cataclysm for this week, and it’ll slowly make its way through all of the expansions, ending with Wrath of the Lich King.

For list of what we’re going to be seeing over the course of the next several weeks make sure to check out the post below.

The Bronze Dragonflight has discovered growing disturbances in the timeways, with several rapidly intersecting our own!

Beginning this week, players can Timewalk through a previous expansion each week for six consecutive weeks. This grand tour through World of Warcraft’s past will start with Cataclysm and end with Wrath of the Lich King.

Also, for a limited time, the Timewalking quest in Valdrakken from Kazra will offer an increased reward—a Heroic level Cache of Vault Treasures with items level 402-411. The reward upgrade is only available for this special Timewalking event. After Turbulent Timewalking has run its course, the reward returns to ilvl 389 Cache of Vault Treasures.
