Phase 4 is Now Live for WoW Classic Anniversary Edition

The next content phase for WoW Classic is now available on Anniversary Edition realms.

Included in the phase are the four Dragons of Nightmare world bosses: Emeriss, Lethon, Taerar, and Ysondre, each with their own powerful loot drops. These bosses were given their own instances in Season of Discovery to make them more accessible, but in WoW Classic they spawn in the open world, where only the most dedicated and coordinated groups can typically manage to tag and slay them.

Phase 4 also adds the Zul’Gurub 20-player raid along with its related reputation and rewards through the Zandalar Tribe. This is the game’s first catch-up raid, offering loot that can help new players and alts get geared up for 40-player content. There are new best-in-slot shoulder enchantments, interesting class gear sets and trinkets, and two rare and coveted mounts: Swift Razzashi Raptor and Swift Zulian Tiger.

The Stranglethorn Vale Fishing Extravaganza also begins with this phase, offering some valuable rewards for Fishing that are often popular among low-level twink characters.

Finally, some quests are now available in Silithus that will lead into the next phase’s content, which revolves around the opening of the Ahn-Qiraj raids.

The Arathi Basin battleground, normally considered part of Phase 4, has already been added to the game. There are two more content phases in WoW Classic following Phase 4, and then Anniversary Edition realms will move into the Burning Crusade expansion.
