Pandemic Rune Guide - Season of Discovery

How to Get the Pandemic Rune

Feralas (Contested Zone)

In Feralas, you’ll need to find two dead mobs, loot them, then use the items you find to create a staff. That staff can be used on a Treant, who will drop the rune when you kill it.

First, go to 68, 54, and follow the torches up the mountain. At the top, you’ll see a cave. Continue to the right and follow the edge of the mountain to find the Dead Diseased Woodpaw Mystic. Loot his satchel (66.4, 50.1).

Next, head north-northeast to (69, 43) and find the Diseased Grimtotem Shaman under a tree. Loot his box, then combine the two items you’ve found to create the Diseased Nature Staff.

Go to (72.4, 50.1) to find the Diseased Forest Walker, and use the staff you created on the mob, then kill it — the forest walker will drop the rune upon death.
