This guide will cover how to get the Frozen Orb rune for Mages in Season of Discovery. We’ll go over all of the locations and requirements in the walkthrough below as well as any useful tips and tricks.

How to Get the Frozen Orb Rune
Felwood
- First, go to Felpaw Village in northern Felwood. Kill Furlbolgs until one drops the Mysterious Darnassian Scroll, which you’ll need to decipher.
- Then, go to the southern side of Felpaw Village to find Calyx patrolling at about (61.0, 12.0) — use the deciphered scroll on Calyx, then accept the offered quest, “Healing the Healer”.
- Finally, kill Irontree Stompers to the south to loot Unusual Flask.

Winterspring
When finished with that, head through Timbermaw Hold to Winterspring, and jump into the hotsprings to the east, at about (29.0, 35.0) to find Calyx. Talk to them and turn in the quest, kill the Enraged Shade that spawns, and loot the Frozen Orb rune from the corpse.
