WotLK Hotfixes October 25th: Deep wounds fix, Headless Horseman Loot Adjustments & More

wotlk hotfixes deep wounds fix, headless horseman loot adjustments & more

Deep Wounds will now properly scale with Blood Frenzy, as well as the rogue ability Savage Combat. This is a sizeable buff to warriors, which is welcomed after last week’s nerf.

Unholy Blight, the damage over time effect applied via a Death Knight’s Death Coil, will no longer keep players in combat for its duration. This was particularly frustrating to rogues trying to re-stealth, or healers trying to drop combat for a drink in arena.

Blizzard also tweaked the drop rates of the Hallowed Helm, Sinister Squashling, and Tooth Pick from the Headless Horseman event boss. Be sure to slay Headless Horseman every day until he leaves us on November 1st! Refer to this guide to learn everything there is to know about the Hallow’s End event.
