Glory of the Raider (25-Man)

black proto drake lich king classic mounts

Almost identical to Glory of the Raider, players will need to complete several smaller achievements to accomplish Glory of the Raider, rewarding them with the Black Proto-Drake. These achievements will need to be completed while on 25-Man difficulty.

Below you will find a list of necessary achievements, and guides on how to obtain them wherever necessary.

Naxxramas

And They Would All Go Down Together

In order for a player to receive credit for this achievement, you must defeat The Four Horsemen within 15 seconds of each other.

Arachnophobia

In order for a player to receive credit for this achievement, you must defeat Maexxna within 20 minutes of Anub’Rekhan dying.

You may not achieve this your first couple of times inside Naxxramas, but with each passing week, your group will receive better gear and become more and more efficient!

Make Quick Werk Of Him

In order for a player to receive credit for this achievement, you must defeat Patchwerk in three minutes or less.

This is essentially a DPS race, save for the simple fact that all DPS should be watching their threat levels at all times. Some ways to make this go a little smoother are:

  • Hunters using Misdirection on cooldown (On whichever tank needs the threat boost – this will generally be the Off-Tank)
  • Paladins using Hand of Salvation on the DPS that have threat sneaking up on the tanks. Note: While there is a cooldown on one Paladin using Hand of Salvation on a target, multiple Paladins can use it on the same target with no cooldown incurred
  • DPS not attacking until the tanks have established threat

The Safety Dance

In order for a player to receive credit for this achievement, you must defeat Heigan the Unclean without anyone in the raid dying.

The biggest part of this achievement is simply successfully completing the Safety Dance. Visit our guide on Heigan the Unclean for a detailed breakdown on how to defeat him.

The Hundred Club

In order for a player to receive credit for this achievement, you must defeat Sapphiron without any member of the raid having a frost resist value over 100.

The easiest way of completing this achievement is to forgo the use of Frost Resistance Aura. This is especially necessary if you have a Druid using Gift of the Wild, which increases resistances, as well.

Momma Said Knock You Out

In order for a player to receive credit for this achievement, you must defeat Grand Widow Faerlina without dispelling or preventing frenzy.

The Immortal

In order for a player to receive credit for this achievement, you must defeat every boss without allowing any raid member to die during any of the boss encounters. Completing this achievement will grant you the title, The Immortal.

This is essentially the exact same achievement as The Undying, except on 25-Man!

Just Can’t Get Enough

In order for a player to receive credit for this achievement, you must defeat Kel’Thuzad while killing at least 18 abominations in his chamber.

Shocking!

In order for a player to receive credit for this achievement, you must defeat Thaddius without anyone in the raid crossing the negative and positive charges.

This is both easy and difficult – it’s easy because it’s a fairly straightforward achievement, but it’s difficult because if someone in your raid lags, or isn’t paying attention to the Polarity Shifts, they can cause the raid to not receive the achievement. It’s best to communicate prior to the encounter which side will hold which charge (Negative or Positive) Players on both sides can simply run through the boss when shifts happen, and still receive the achievement.

Eye of Eternity

You Don’t Have An Eternity

In order for a player to receive credit for this achievement, you must defeat Malygos in 6 minutes or less.

We have a complete guide on completing this raid, which you find by visiting this page.

Denyin’ the Scion

In order for a player to receive credit for this achievement, you must deliver the killing blow on a Scion of Eternity while riding on a hover disk.

It is noted that while completing this achievement, you do not need to actually defeat Malygos to obtain this achievement.

The Spellweaver’s Downfall

In order for a player to receive credit for this achievement, you will just need to defeat Malygos.

There is no time limit for this encounter. You will receive the achievement so long as you defeat Malygos.

Obsidian Sanctum

Gonna Go When the Volcano Blows

In order for a player to receive credit for this achievement, you must defeat Sartharion the Onyx Guardian without getting hit by Lava Strike.

The Twilight Zone

In order for a player to receive credit for this achievement, you must defeat Sartharion the Onyx Guardian with all three Twilight Drakes still alive.

Commonly known as “OS3D,” you can see our complete guide to completing this feat by clicking here.

Congratulations on completing Glory of the Raider (25-Man), and getting your very own Black Proto-Drake!
