What's overall the easiest solo leveling class?

I tried a hunter recently. the pet food issue is annoying. Like every 30 seconds, your pet needs food again. Between pet food and arrows/bullets, it's hell on your bag space and very micromanage-y.

Warlocks have a similar issue with soul shards, but they're a LOT more forgiving in this area. They have a ton of ways to trade one resource for another (like life tap), or store resources for later use (healthstone), and if you combine all of that with an undead's Cannibalize ability... yeah, you rarely if ever find yourself up a creek without a paddle.

I also just found out that, while paladins and locks get free mounts when they hit 40, druids get travel form at 30. WHY DIDN'T ANY OF YOU TELL ME THIS 6 MONTHS AGO? like srsly.

Not only do we get travel form (+40% speed) at level 30, when you're trying to travel certain distances it is faster than the 60% mount since travel form is instant cast and it takes a few seconds to cast a mount. Same thing for an epic mount, even with a 100% mount in my bag there are certain distances where travel form is still faster. Like sprinting across the bridge from the Ironforge auction hall to the mailbox. Druids have fantastic mobility.

Answering the question more serious than my last post even though I kinda hit the big 3 in easy level classes.
Hunter, Warlock and Druid.

Hunter I think is the easiest and best leveling class period.
They can solo any mob pretty much in the game, with their pet tanking and can kite enemys till it dies.
They can even kite mobs that cant be slowed.
And if they pulled too many by accident they can reset the pull with feign death.

Then second i would say either warlock or druid, you could argue either or.
Warlock with high survivability if you go demo build with the pet tanking or have high dps if you go down the other trees so you can kill mobs fast.
Pet classes have it easier with absorbing damage when fighting, by absorbing damage it goes to the pet instead of the player.
And lifetap is amazing while leveling!

Druids can do it all!
And like Pippina said you can travel faster than any class from one place in the zone to the next.
No real down time if you go feral leveling since you can pop out and heal then move on to the next mob.
Basically you dont need to eat and drink as much as other classes do.
And druids are the prettiest classes soooooo it makes leveling easier lol

I must say i'm quite surprised i don't see anyone mentioning rogues.
After getting my mage to 60 i started a rogue. Mages are king of aoe grinding and whatnot, but i must say i do enjoy being able to keep on going without having to drink up.
It's only level 13 at the moment, so i've just experienced a small bit of course.

Rogues can stealth in caves and avoid the trash to get to the named guy at the end, which is handy.
But you do lose out on the xp in clearing to that named guy at the end.
Rogues do have some good tools and such.

But the problem i see with rogues in leveling, i leveled one in vanilla back then was rogues are much squishier than you think.
After attacking a mob i needs to eat. So instead of drinking alot on your mage you need to eat/bandage alot on your rogue.
I remember i had issues with certain mobs at my level because my weapons were not that strong and i was missing alot especially because i was leveling my dagger/sword skills. And trying to solo elites, forget about it lol
You do have alot of stuff to help but they are cool down base, evasion.

And another big problem with rogues is finding a good/great weapon.

EDIT: Another one I remember was your melee range so yes you will get hit alot but when trying to pull one mob or a certain pack or even sapping, you could aggro more than you wanted. you need to get a bow to range pull, i remember didn't have one for awhile.

You got a good point on being very dependent on weapons. I guess it's the same for every melee. I got a new sword yesterday and even a small upgrade in weapondamage is a huge boost.
Back in vanilla i had a warlock as main and only started my rogue in TBC, so it's all new when it comes to that 😀
And, on a sidenote, i must remember after sapping a mob, you unstealth ^^
